First Notice of Loss

As an insurer, a timely and accurate investigation is crucial to the overall claims process. Our first notice of loss team is on call 24 hours, 7 days a week to assist your policy holders at the onset of any claim. In cooperation with your organization, we will develop a standard operating procedure tailored toward gathering claims information pertinent to the investigation.

Cause and Origin Reports

When attempting to determine the cause and origin of a vehicle fire, it is oftentimes necessary to deploy an investigator to assess the overall fire damage. This is useful to rule out not only potential arson or fraud but also for subrogation purposes. Our certified fire and explosion investigators provide comprehensive reports utilized in completing a thorough claim evaluation.

Vehicle Damage Appraisals

Our network of commercial and private passenger vehicle appraisers complete an onsite damage evaluation utilizing software accepted industry-wide. We provide accurate and timely vehicle damage estimates that are reviewed by the Ikon quality control team to ensure that they are compliance with your company standards.

Desk Appraisal and Estimate Audit

We provide a cost-effective approach to obtaining a vehicle damage appraisal. Our skilled desk appraisers complete estimates utilizing damage photos provided by the vehicle owner. Additionally, we audit submitted damage estimates and photos (private passenger, commercial and heavy equipment) in accordance with your company’s guidelines to obtain an agreed price with a body shop or repair facility.

Total Loss and Salvage Handling

At Ikon we understand that handling a claims desk can be both stressful and time consuming. Claims handlers set out to close claims expeditiously and justly. For this reason, salvage recovery becomes an arduous task that many claims handlers do not address timely.
